About DGC

A Decade of Building. A Region of Possibility.

Established in Bahrain in 2017 with a thesis: that capital, deployed selectively across the sectors shaping the region's next decade, would compound differently. Nine years in, that thesis still holds.

Our Story

Patient capital. Regional insight. Long-term partnerships.

DGC was founded in 2017 with a clear conviction: that capital deployed selectively in sectors fundamental to the region's growth would compound differently than the cycle-chasing capital around it. Nine years later, we've invested across four sectors — healthcare, real estate, hospitality, and industrial trading & innovation — and built the operator relationships that turn capital into outcomes.

Headquartered in Bahrain with our second office in Riyadh, DGC operates with the discipline of an institutional allocator and the agility of a regional partner. Our partners stay because we say what we'll do and do what we say. Our founders stay because we don't disappear after the transaction.

This is private equity built for the long arc. Nine years in, and building toward the tenth.

The Road to 10

From 2017 to 2027 — A Decade in Discipline

Nine years of building, one year ahead. The milestones below trace the moments that have shaped DGC — and the conviction we'll carry into the next chapter.
  1. 2017

    Founded in Bahrain

AUM passes USD 20 million as DGC invests outside Bahrain for the first time, extending the thesis into neighbouring GCC markets.

  4. 2020

    Recognised for Innovation

DGC wins Most Innovative Private Equity House and launches Bahrain's first cloud kitchen concept, built in-house while the hospitality sector reordered itself.

  5. 2021

    Into the Kingdom

DGC expands to Riyadh, establishing a presence in Saudi Arabia as Vision 2030 opened the private sector to partners who could move quickly.

  6. 2022

    The Saudi Commitment

DGC and its partners commit SAR 400 million to acquisitions across Saudi F&B and healthcare. AUM climbs past USD 110 million.

  7. 2023

AUM passes USD 200 million and the portfolio grows beyond 30 companies, on 37% net profit for the financial year.

  8. 2024

Net profit grows a further 24%, carrying DGC into the final stretch of its first decade.

  10. 2026
    Today

DGC enters its ninth year with a renewed brand identity and a strategy built for the decade mark and the years past it.

  11. 2027

    A Decade of Discipline

DGC turns ten. Broader regional reach, deeper specialisation in the sectors it knows, and the same patient approach that started it in 2017.

Our Values

The Five Principles That Guide Us

Brand values aren't decorative for us — they're the criteria we apply to every investment, every partnership, and every hire.

Ambition

We back ideas with the scale to matter — investments that compound across cycles and shape the region's next decade.

Connection

Relationships before transactions. Our network across the GCC and Europe is built over years of follow-through, not introductions.

Trust

Earned, not assumed. Transparency with partners, alignment with founders, and discipline in our own conduct.

Network

Capital is one input. Operator depth, regional access, and strategic doors open faster when DGC is at the table.

Experience

Decades of building, scaling, and exiting businesses across our four sectors inform every investment decision we make.
